The new Kasumi Kuro knives are developed by combining the best technologies from over a decade of experience in producing Kasumi series knives.

Kasumi Kuro are handmade utilizing the skills of knife making specialists and crafted in the same way of traditional Japanese swords.

The cutting blade of the Kasumi Kuro is made from Molybdenium Vanadium high carbon steel. Damascus pattern on both sides result in repeated folding and forging of high carbon stainless steel in multiple layers and hammered pattern has been forged.. Uneven hammered design helps avoid food sticking to the blade.

The beauty of the Kasumi pattern together with the traditional Japanese design of strong black laminated wood handle makes the knives look graceful yet strong, and good for any cooking style.
